Introduced in 2015, this is the newcomer to the Anejados line. A hermoso no. 4, this anejado has already been aged between 5 and 8 years before being put to market. This cigar can be smoked immediately as there is virtually no ammonia present as is the case with younger Cuban cigars. The smoothness that is prevalent in aged Cuban cigars is immediately obvious whenb this cigar is lit. Hints of almonds with complex flavours are prominent in the first third. As it evolves into the second third, the complexity remains but the underlying notes become more of exotic wood. In the final third, this cigars evolves beautifully into peppery and complex flavours. A real treat straigfht out of the box.
